Chris is awarded the Xero Migration Certification!

As long term advocates and users of Xero, we’re thrilled to announce that Chris has now been awarded the Xero Migration Certification!

We’re already a Xero Partner firm, recognised and certified by them, but the addition of the new certification goes further.

To achieve the certification, Chris had to complete a programme of online education. This included modules around the process of migrating clients from another system onto Xero. It also included preparing a plan of action for how to group and prioritise existing or new clients and convert them to Xero efficiently.

We’ve moved a lot of clients to Xero and the related Apps over the years, so we already understood many of the common pitfalls encountered when setting up Xero and how to avoid them. The Xero Migration Certification ¬†is formal proof of this knowledge and experience though, so it’s great for us to be able to add this to our accreditations.

This will become increasingly important as HMRC implements its new Making Tax Digital programme from April 2019. The programme will force VAT registered businesses to file their quarterly returns through software, rather than the current Gateway process. As a result, we wanted to ensure that we were able to fully support these clients with the process of moving from their familiar routines.

If you’re interested to know more about Xero and the enormous benefits that using it fully can bring, do get in touch. We can also help you understand how some of the Apps such as ReceiptBank or Spotlight Reporting can help. We’d love to share our knowledge with you and show you how to improve efficiency and become better informed about the performance of your business.
