Xero Expenses – the easy way to keep track

We’re always looking for ways to help clients streamline the inevitable admin of running a business, and Xero Expenses is a really easy way to do that.

Using the bolt-on to the main Xero software, you can:

  • Take a photo of receipts – Make expense claims fast and paperless by using OCR technology to scan the key information into your claim.
  • Reimburse expenses promptly – Approve expenses claims without delay, being notified as soon as a claim is submitted. Claims are paid in the same way as any other bills.
  • Monitor employee spending – See analytics by employee, status, account and project. This can enable more accurate forecasts and budgets.
  • Deal with your Expenses on the move – Using the Xero Expenses mobile app makes it even easier to deal with car parking or coffees while you’re out of the office, but also enables you to track and submit mileage, and avoids the need for those random receipts in your pocket, car or handbag!

There is an additional charge to access Xero Expenses, of £2.50 per user, but we think it’s tiny when you consider the time and efficiency savings from which you can benefit.
