Quickbooks prices are going up!
Quickbooks announced an increase in their pricing that will apply to existing users from their first billing date after January 15th 2025. This will affect all subscribers to Quickbooks Self Employed, Simple Start, Essentials, Plus or Advanced. Quickbooks Online Payroll prices are also increasing, as below.
New customers or those upgrading will be charged the new prices from 4th December 2024.

If you have a discounted subscription as part of a promotion that price will be honoured until the end of the period, at which point you will pay the new price.
You should by now have received an email from Quickbooks advising you of the increases, and how it will affect your subscription. This would have been very recent, as the changes were only announced at the very end of November. Given the amount of notice that Xero gives of any pricing changes, this lack of warning from Quickbooks was quite a surprise!
If you need to check your subscription level, or wish to change it, you can do that through Account and Settings under Billing and Subscription. Please be aware that the new pricing will be applied to your subscription if you make any changes to your plan before the 15th January.
