New format Confirmation Statement Reminders…

We’ve heard recently from several clients that they’ve received a new format reminder from Companies House around a month before the annual Confirmation Statement is due. The reminder is being sent to the Registered Email address for the company, and references the need for Directors, Officers and PSCs to verify their identity before any Confirmation Statements can be submitted after the 18th November 2025.

The emails are being sent to ALL companies, and, other than the Confirmation Statement due date and the company name, are totally generic, without any distinction between those who have competed the ID process and those that still need to do so.

What do you need to do?

If you’re a client of ours, we’ve talked about the need for ID verification for a while now, and many of you have now completed the process.

If you have completed the ID verification process, and let us have your Personal Code from Companies House, you don’t need to do anything if you receive a copy of this email. We will send our usual information check to you nearer the due date for the Confirmation Statement, and will include all of the necessary Personal Codes when we submit that to Companies House on your behalf.

If you haven’t yet completed the ID verification process, now is the time to do so! You can find more details in this post. Once you’re verified, please let us know the code Companies House will send you.

Please be aware that ALL Directors, Officers and PSCs need to go through the ID verification process, so we will need a code for each of you please.

It would also be helpful if you could send us a copy, just in case it’s something we need to be aware of, as we don’t receive copies of correspondence they send to you, and it enables us to be aware of new processes other clients may receive, as in this case.
