Changes to the Furlough Scheme – Lockdown 3.0
With the announcement of Lockdown 3.0 in England from 6th January 2021, the guidance around the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (Furlough Scheme) has been updated.
If an employee is unable to work because they are caring for children who are at home as a result of school or childcare facilities closing, you are able to furlough them. This can also apply if they are working reduced hours.
