American Express Bank Feed Update
You’ll have seen a range of reminders from Xero regarding the update to the American Express Bank Feed, but the previous feed is no longer supported and will have stopped importing transactions to Xero since the 5th November 2023.
There have been various reminders for a while now so apologies for banging the drum yet again!
American Express now has a new feed through UK Open Banking. The new feed will give you a more reliable connection in the longer term.
How to update the American Express UK Feed Connection:
- Log in to Xero
- Find the American Express UK account on the dashboard
- Click the ‘Update bank connection’ button to initiate the update process
- Review the ‘Terms’
- Click ‘Agree and continue’ and follow the prompts.
If you have any problems with updating the feed, please contact Xero Support for help; they’re set up to provide you with the right level of support, and can access your system to do so. We’re always very happy to help where we can if you’re really stuck and the issue is urgent, but we honestly don’t have the resources to be able to replace Xero’s Support Team!
